"In Your Interest" is a financial and estate planning advice column written by Valerie Rumbough, Vice President of Finance of the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina.  Valerie's column provides simple, practical advice on financial issues facing today's Christian and is published in every other issue of The Baptist Courier. 

Valerie, a certified public accountant and certified financial planner, is a graduate of Furman University and the College for Financial Planning and spent more than 10 years in public accounting prior to joining the Foundation in 2000.
